Aspirations
When looking to the future as a young adult, we have to consider career options that are to our liking in one way or another, whether it is our passion, talent, or it is just done for the money. Many would pick the money, but in my opinion your passion for the subject is most important. I am someone who believes in helping people, even if it means putting someone lese before me. My true passion is in the medical field, specifically dermatology. When following this dream, if I stay in the right direction, I believe the talent and money will come. Of course the job isn't the only thing about a career, the location and how it will be run. I am an Indiana Pacers fan and an Indianapolis Colts fan, so as you can imagine, I love Indiana. It's where my mother grew up and where I want to go. Also, I must decide whether I want to run my own office, or work for another. Based on my skills I can be a team leader with forgiveness, which can be good if I want to own my own office and be the boss.
Aspirations Reflection
When I look back on writing this paper it really makes me reflect on my life. I lived my whole life with the expressions like “I have got a while before that” when asked about my future life choices. However, I am in high school now, which means I have less than 4 years before I have to know what I want and what I want to do, and I have to do it. This assignment makes me think, what college will I attend? Or, where will I live?
The transition from middle school to high school already seems like they are starting to teach us and respect us like young adults, whereas middle school would hold our hands the entire 3 years. Though I may not know exactly what I want to do, I know I want to work in the medical field and I am taking the proper courses for that now.
